The setting is in an ancient civilization called Esthgantath. There is a hierarchy system. Every girl is named after a type of flower or plant, because long ago their ancestors believed that females had the spirit to persevere, like many plants. ???

Sakura's hazel eyes stared in awe at the expanse of gloriously beautiful meadows she was looking at.
"Oh my goodness," she whispered to herself, but her company seemed to hear.
"I thought you'd like it!" a beautiful voice -- that could have been the equivalent, or even better, to that of wind chimes -- sounded in her ear. She spun around with a ginormous smile reaching across her face. "It's lovely! I can't believe you were able to find a field this magnificent!" "Actually, Miki found it! And guess what?" the beautiful-sounding girl inquired in her usual playful voice. It was sometimes hard to believe that Sweet Pea was the older one of the duo. "I don't like guessing, just tell me." Sakura pouted "Well, you wouldn't guess it, but Miki was actually hoping he could be here to see your expression, but he had his 'duties', Of course." She motioned with her fingers a quotation around 'duties'.
"That's enough!" A males voice shouted as a hand flew to cover Sweet Pea's mouth. "Buut et wuz jroo!" Sweet Pea shouted from under her brothers hand.
Sakura looked over at Miki, and wasn't surprised to see his face shaded scarlet. He always seemed to be embarrassed about something. She started taking a step towards him, but of course being her clumsy self, she lost her footing and started tumbling down the hill.
When her face was facing the way she was rolling instead of being buried in soft grasses --thankfully-- she saw large boulders dead ahead. But before she could ready herself for the impact, a strong hand grabbed her wrist and she was jerked upward. She looked around to see who had saved her, even though she was incredibly dizzy from the tumble, but couldn't see anyone but Sweet Pea and Miki running down the hill after her. They were much too far away to have been able to rescue her.
She slumped back to the ground and sat there as Sweet Pea and her brother caught up with her. "Did you see that?" she asked the others, her voice embarrassingly shaky. "See what?" Sweet Pea asked in her usual ditsy way. But Miki seemed to be looking somewhere else to the east of where they stood. "Come on. Let's get you to the castle to get you looked at. Make sure you don't have any injuries."
Sakura let him put his arm around her waist to lift her. She looked off into the field the way Miki had been staring before she concentrated on not falling again as they made their way up the hill and to the castle infirmary.

In the village...
Iris was taking a walk when she heard an argument in the village. She went over to see who was arguing, and discovered two guards in front of the castle were arguing about who's shift it is.
"I was just told to take the shift." One guard said, so the other replied, "I am supposed to take guard till 5:00, it's only 3:30!" Iris stood there listening to the conversation. Then went up to the guards. The guards knew that she was a quiet one, so they were surprised when she started talking to them, even if it was just a little over a whisper, so they listened. "Can't both of you do the job? One on that end and the other on that end? Then, no one would be able to get past on either side. Aaand, (she stretched 'and' to make it sound more important) it will make the king feel more safe with two guards, aaand it will show us villagers that the king is even more important."
When Iris kept her mouth silent again, the guards agreed and did what she said without an argument.
Iris continued on her walk, settled more arguments, and went home for dinner at 5:00. On her way, she stopped by the guards. Another guard had come to take the night shift of 5:00 to 7:00. No arguments, so she headed home.

Wisteria peeked around the corner of a house, her dark eyes looking at the village market. It was filled with people doing they're late shopping. She spotted the bread stand not too far off from where she hid. Heart thudding in her chest, she crept forward, making sure the shop owner was busy with someone else. Picking up a large loaf as casually as she could, she pretended she was a costumer simply looking over the freshness of the bread.
When she saw that the shop owner was busy with a real costumer, she made a dash for it. She weaved in and out of the many people in the market. She held to the bread loaf tightly, making sure she didn't lose her meal this time.
Suddenly she heard a whistle sound far behind her. The usual sign that there is a thief among the people. She ran even harder. She was almost to her hideout, where she could eat in peace.
Finally she reached safety. It took all she could to not look back and make sure she wasn't the one being chased. She took a deep breath and began climbing the crumbling stairs in her "house". When she reached the top of the staircase, she let herself slid down against the farthest wall. She let herself calm down before she began eating.
When she saw that the shop owner was busy with a real costumer, she made a dash for it. She weaved in and out of the many people in the market. She held to the bread loaf tightly, making sure she didn't lose her meal this time.

Miki and Sweet Pea sat on the edge of Sakura's bed in the castle infirmary. "Ugh." Sakura moaned whenever she shifted her position. Other than the few bruises and a slightly twisted ankle, she was fine, but it still hurt when she moved. "You should be more careful when walking on the edge of a hill. Especially when the hill has been eroded by rain." Sweet Pea said in a teacher-like manner while shaking her finger at Sakura.
"Oh, just be quiet, Sweet Pea!" Sakura mumbled annoyed. "Hmph!" Sweet Pea made a face at Sakura. "But it's true! Right Miki?" Both girls looked up at the Prince with big eyes. Miki felt his face get red by the stares of the girls. He hated when they gave him that look. If he sided with one, the other would be mad. Typical for girls. he thought to himself.
"Look, I... um... have to go look at something. Sweet Pea, watch after Sakura!" he called over his shoulder as he made his way out of the room, his ears quite visibly scarlet.
"Hmph." Sweet Pea grunted again. "It would have been more fun if he had stayed. Oh well, he wouldn't be able to understand it anyways." "Understand what?" Sakura asked.
Sweet Pea turned to her, an ecstatic smile spreading across her face. "You didn't know? There's another commotion brewing up in the town. Your father didn't tell you?"
"Well, no. He doesn't tell me about the things he does at work."
"Well, anyways, lets go and see what's going on now."
Before Sakura could say anything, she was already being half-pulled half-carried out of the castle.
"Oh, just be quiet, Sweet Pea!" Sakura mumbled annoyed. "Hmph!" Sweet Pea made a face at Sakura. "But it's true! Right Miki?" Both girls looked up at the Prince with big eyes.
