Sonya stared at the woman as she left the cottage, then collapsed onto her knees. Panting, she crawled over to Fye.
"Fye! Come on Fye, get up! The shape-shifter's gone!"
Sonya found the medicine kit that was stored in the house and quickly went to work on her older brother. When she was satisfied with his bandages, that seemed to be all over his body, she made him a pallet on the floor and dragged him onto it. When he drifted into a sleep, she was able to close her eyes for a few minutes and fall asleep.

Re: Enchanted Foresters
Fae ran through the woods, panting with pain. Even with her fast healing body, the wounds she had received were giving her difficulty. After having stopped for the third time to catch her breath, Fae changed back into her human form. "This is ridiculous," Fae complained. "I should have already healed enough to not have any difficulty breathing." Fae looked behind herself. She hadn't been able to escape as far as she wanted. Like this, it would take a whole day to get to the town nearby. "Cursed elf," she muttered under her breath. She breathed in sharply when her chest throbbed painfully.

Finally Fae reached the town she had hoped to. She had recovered a little bit more, enough to have the strength to get an easier meal. Fae morphed into a white cobra and wound her way into town undetected. She found a stable that was near the town's entrance and slid in through a small hole that had rotted through the wooden wall. Instantly the animals in the stable sensed her presence and became nervous. Ignoring the panic she was causing, Fae scented the air, flicking her tongue out. She scented sheep in the back and so slid along the floor keeping close to the the walls. Almost immediately she spotted the ankle of her victim. she raised herself up and struck the animal before it saw her. The venom from her fangs quickly made its way through the beast and ended its life. All the other animals in the stable made a ruckus and soon a man came running in. Fae hid under some straw. The man searched the stable, looking for the cause of the panic and soon found the dead sheep. Confused, the man carried the sheep out of the stable. Fae quickly slid back to and out of the hole she had come in through and followed the man. The man carried the sheep out of the village and Fae nearly laughed out of delight that the man didn't think of checking the cause of the sheep's death. The man deposited the sheep in the woods and returned to his village. Fae changed into her human form and cooked the sheep.
